I wanted this bar to feel like lemonade in soap form - fresh, sunny and citrusy :)

Additives (600g oil batch) - for colour
dried lemon zest: saved from the lemons used to make the lemon juice for the lye solution - for olive oil infusion
annatto seeds: 1-1.5 tsp for the olive oil infusion with lemon zest
Lye solution (600g oil batch) - 34.6% NaOH concentrate
155g lemon juice (frozen): freshly squeezed lemon juice; strained*
optional sugar: 0.5-1 tsp (about 2-4g), dissolved into the lemon juice before freezing - helps to boost lather
84.5 + 4.8 = 89.3g sodium hydroxide (4% super fat)
*there are roughly 7.8g of citric acid in lemon juice, citric acid will react with NaOH to produce sodium citrate (improves lather); the acidity of fresh lemon juice varies any additional NaOH used is only an estimate.
