Additives (600g oil batch) - for colour

  • dried & crushed cucumber peels: saved from the cucumbers used to make the cucumber juice for the lye solution - for rice bran oil infusion

Lye solution (600g oil batch) - 34.9% NaOH concentrate

  • 155g cucumber juice (frozen): freshly squeezed lemon juice; strained*

  • 83.1g sodium hydroxide (4% super fat)

Cucumber essential oil blend - 2.0% of oil weight

  • 5g spearmint (or peppermint) essential oil

  • 4g lime essential oil

  • 2g eucalyptus essential oil

  • 1g cedarwood essential oil

*make sure that the fragrance / essential oil you are using is skin safe, and the exact safe maximum depends on that specific fragrance’s IFRA limit
