| argan oil | 3 % | 18 g |
| sweet almond oil | 8 % | 48 g |

Additives (600g oil batch) - for colour
Indigo powder: ¼ tsp (0.5g): blend with oils before saponification
———or———
purple Brazilian clay: 1-2 tsp (around 5g): blend with oils before saponification
Lye solution (600g oil batch) - 38.6% NaOH concentrate*
135g blueberry juice (frozen): blend washed blueberry + small amounts of water; strained
85.0g sodium hydroxide (4% super fat)
*38.6% NaOH concentrate is considered a high lye concentration; for beginners, I recommend to decrease the lye concentration to 30-32% by increasing the solvent (wheatgrass juice). Higher lye concentration makes the batter thicken faster, and gives you less working time.
Lavender essential oil - 1-3% of oil weight*
6g - 18g lavender essential oil
*make sure that the fragrance / essential oil you are using is skin safe, and the exact safe maximum depends on that specific fragrance’s IFRA limit
